  1. Very precise and to the point. It’s something I have experienced over the passed couple of years in my continuing attempts to stop smoking so thanks for the post. It’s come at just the right time for me.

    • Thank you, and hang in there! One thing that was very helpful for me when I quit smoking was keeping an urge log. Over a week’s time, or sometimes just a few days, you can see the urges getting further apart, and less in intensity. That helps when you get the feeling that you can’t stand them, and they will get worse until you give in.

    Ouch……While talking about addiction, I think this post goes beyond just addiction. I was saying for a few weeks before I crashed that something wasn’t right, I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I would bring it up in my CODA meetings and got the impression others have felt it too. I was burning myself out without even realizing it.
